历史沿革[edit]
村名来自上炉塘、下炉塘两个村合并，两村之间各有一处炉塘。[1] 1970年，炉塘从沙岗生产大队分出，另设生产大队；其后称乡（1984年）、村民委员会（1988年）、管理区（1989年），1998年10月经恩平市人民政府批准定名炉塘村民委员会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
据村委会概况，全村138户、540人，辖区面积15000亩，耕地仅103亩；各自然村通普通公路，其中两条自然村已硬底化。[1] 村内有君子山自然保护区。[1]
经济[edit]
上、下炉塘村种植枇杷，炉塘枇杷是大田镇的特产之一。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，炉塘村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
