朗北村是大田镇西北部的行政村，在恩平与新兴两地交界处，距镇政府约10千米，下辖13个村民小组。^[1] 村在2019年12月入选「第一批国家森林乡村」。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村因村委会办公地点在朗底圩北面而得名。^[1] 朗北在1958年为生产大队，后来相继改为乡（1984年）、村（1986年）、管理区（1989年），1998年10月经恩平市人民政府批准，定名朗北村民委员会。^[1]

据村委会概况（以2009年前后数据为主），村内有712户、3025人，辖区面积16342亩，其中水田1226亩、旱地3116亩、山地12000亩；村民小组有上信、下信、横岗、圹背等；2009年村集体经济纯收入3.8万元。^[1]

塘背村民小组后山的树林保留有大量古树。据村里老人说，村民在百余年前迁到此处，古树是迁来后先辈所种，村民历来重视保护；镇里依托塘背村的古树公园推进古树乡村建设。^[2] 镇上的朗北老区党史展览室也设在朗北。^[3]

朗北村的湖岗村、塘背村于2023年5月获评「2022年广东省卫生村」；村又在2024年1月被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。^[1]
