金居村位于开平市月山镇，村民委员会辖6个村民小组，登记人口1580人、420户，耕地1061亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据称本村最初是金姓人家的居所，故名金居。清代隶开平县古博都，民国年间划归第十区罗村乡，1961年属水井公社金居大队，1963年改属月山公社，1984年改乡人民政府，1989年改管理区；1993年撤县设市后归开平市月山镇，到1999年定名金居村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，金居村入选「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。[1]
