天湖村位于开平市月山镇西南面，离镇政府5公里，村民委员会辖9个村民小组，登记人口2456人、595户。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

金龙、大园、龙田等村所在的地方别称“天湖塘”，村名因此而来。清代隶开平县古博都，民国年间划归第十区月山乡，新中国成立后属九区天湖乡，1961年属水井公社（称麦边大队），1963年改属月山公社，称天湖大队，1984年改乡人民政府，1989年改管理区；1993年撤县设市后归开平市月山镇，到1999年定名天湖村民委员会。[1]

人口经济[edit]

水田2450亩、旱地1200亩、鱼塘700亩、山林8300亩，是村里的主要土地资源，集体经济相对较好。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年4月获江门市文明村镇称号，2023年5月获2022年广东省卫生村称号，2026年1月获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
