东头村是大江镇所辖的行政村，属广东省江门市台山市，位于镇北部，原属公益镇。全村约2平方千米，有8条自然村、10个村民小组，划为1个智慧网格；常住1387人，户籍登记464户、1767人。[1][2]

村里的产业以红木家具和筷子制造为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1996年，东头是公益镇下设的5个管理区之一；2001年公益镇撤销后，随之划归大江镇。[2]

村内的松林村现分松一、松二、松三三个村民小组，是由松林和原来的官窑村合并而成的。官窑这个名字，据说是因为村里出过不少秀才、举人，做官的人也多。[1]

华林、西园两条自然村之间有一处叫「金鸡圩」的旧址。民间相传光绪年间这里十分兴旺，附近的「金鸡寺」香火很盛，还流传着和尚罗隐「饭后钟」的故事；现在还能见到古代「文昌宫」的残迹。[1] 当地人曾把周围的村名编成对联：「金鸡出桑园，飞入松林寻旧屋；白牛过铁冲，走回喾口驶新田」。[1]

2018年，东头村被大江镇评为先进基层党组织；村里也得过镇里计划生育工作方面的先进单位和发展壮大村级集体经济奖。[1]
