布练村是佛山市高明区更合镇的行政村，西面隔山与肇庆市高要区活道镇相邻，南至合水圩镇，北至高要区蛟塘镇[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，布练村属景顺乡；民国时期属二区永安乡；1951年12月成立布练乡，1958年成立布练大队，隶属高鹤县合水公社；1987年设布练村委会，1999年重新设立村民委员会，属高明市合水镇；2005年并入更合镇[3]。

地理与经济[edit]

村委会面积约10.05平方千米，辖新村、坑口、塘边、坑尾、黄象5条自然村，新村、坑口、塘边3条自然村的土地已全部征用；村情材料（未注明年份）记户籍人口2639人，另有外来人口约1200人，耕地1400亩，山地6900亩[1][2]。
