历史沿革[edit]
明清时期，版村属景顺乡文储都；民国时期属二区文储乡，后文储与安太二乡合并称文安乡，再改称民安乡[3]。1951年12月成立版村乡，1957年9月划归鹤山县，版村大队1958年成立，归鹤山县的双合公社[3]。高明县在1982年恢复建制，版村大队随之由高鹤县双合公社转入高明县更楼公社；1987年设村民委员会，2005年随更楼镇并入更合镇[3]。
地理与经济[edit]
村委会总面积约32平方千米，耕地约5225亩，山林地2万多亩，辖东头、石街、井边、香边、长塘、丁田、迳口7个村民小组；村情材料（未注明年份）记有710户，2725人，收入主要来自种植水稻和瓜菜、鱼塘养殖、养鸡和外出务工[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，版村入选2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」[1]。
