巨泉村是佛山市高明区更合镇东南部的行政村，南接江门市鹤山市双合镇，是革命老区，1938年10月建立中共巨泉支部[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期，巨泉村属景顺乡布社都（肇庆府高明县景顺乡马鞍都）；民国时期属二区文安乡；1951年12月成立巨泉乡，1958年成立巨泉大队，隶属高鹤县合水公社；1978年分出田村大队；1987年设巨泉村委会[3][2]。2004年田村村委会并入巨泉村委会，2005年随合水镇并入更合镇[3]。
地理与经济[edit]
辖区面积约19.6平方千米，共10条自然村，即田村、螺洞、马鞍、巨泉、巨塘，以及新围、大围、鹿村、洞心、康泰；村情材料（未注明年份）记有906户，3390人，耕地约4458.9亩，山林约1.5万亩，鱼塘500多亩，种植合水西瓜、肉姜、粉葛、沙葛等[1][2]。
革命史迹[edit]
1938年10月，中共巨泉支部建立；1957年，巨泉被县人民政府评为“抗日根据地”；抗战时期牺牲的有谭宝荃、谭宝芬、谭维均，还有谭一鸣、黎子廷；和平时期牺牲的烈士是黎桂连；村内的历史建筑有谭宝荃革命烈士纪念碑和天主教堂[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2016年度被评为高明区文明村，2017年度被评为高明区文明村示范村和佛山市文明村[2]。
