历史沿革[edit]
更楼圩在清同治年间（1862年至1874年）形成集市，民国时期建成接源街和中兴街[3]。1958年，吉受、罗丹两个大队成立，更楼圩归高鹤县的合水公社；翌年（1959年）合水公社又划出更楼公社[3]。1987年设更楼居委会，1999年重新设立更楼社区居民委员会，当时属高明市更楼镇[3]。2004年吉受、罗丹两个村委会撤销，并入社区，2005年随镇并入更合镇[3]。
地理与人口[edit]
社区总面积21.5平方千米，辖区内有一条街道和10条自然村：吉受、吉岗、利村、停步、老菜、陀程、龙珠、吉利、罗丹、凤尾[2]。村情材料（未注明年份）记有1614户，常住人口6900人，流动人口2000人，耕地3482亩，鱼塘2500亩，山地1.72万亩，主要集体收入来自出租山地和鱼塘[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予更楼社区“2021年广东省卫生村”称号[1]。更楼社区党总支在2018年6月升格为党委，下辖10个党支部[2]。
