泰兴村是佛山市高明区荷城街道内的行政村，2004年由槎江村与古耶村合并而成，离荷城中心城区约6公里，村委会驻地原在泰兴片村，故名。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带在明清和民国时，同归高要县第九区的泰和乡。1951年12月，泰和乡的槎江、六湾、古耶、墨编、练滘、单涌、石洲、王臣等划归高明县，设槎江乡与古耶乡；1958年成立槎江、古耶两个大队，隶属高鹤县西安公社。2004年槎江、古耶村委会合并设立泰兴村委会，归西安街道；2005年区划调整后改属荷城街道。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

村简介称，全村占地约15平方千米，在册895户、2890人，下辖14条自然村，其中镇地江、谭家、曹家、西黄、东黄、梁家、白土屋、上古耶、下古耶9条为全征地村，村民外出务工；会江、江美、格坑、陈家、李家5条仍以种稻、养鱼和务工为主。现有耕地1228亩、鱼塘1205亩、山地1919亩。[1]

2021年9月，泰兴村（会江村水产养殖）入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村；2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，2023年5月格坑村、谭家村、曹家村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

古椰贝丘遗址位于荷城街道古椰村东北，是新石器时代遗址，2013年公布为「第七批全国重点文物保护单位」，详见荷城街道条目。[4]
