云秀社区是广东省佛山市三水区西南街道下辖的社区，位于街道的老城区，居民密集。社区因辖区内的云秀山得名，2005年5月由云秀、新华南、文锋中三个居委会合并成立。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区所在地在1953年成立西南镇第一管理区，旧时叫一街坊。“文化大革命”期间曾改称第一管理区革命委员会，1982年恢复原名。2000年撤销管理区，设云秀居民委员会；2005年4月前后按三府复〔2005〕25号文，云秀、新华南、文锋中三个居委会并为云秀社区居委会，名称沿用至今。[1][3]

地理与人口[edit]

社区东起红卫路以西，南靠北江大堤，西到原口岸码头以东，北至广三铁路和文锋西路以南，面积约3.066平方公里。社区简介所记户籍人口约15032人，常住人口约18000人，下设48个居民小组。[3]

广东省曾于2007年评其为「六好平安和谐社区」。[3]
