历史沿革[edit]
公社化的1958年，这里是南岸大队；1983年建南岸乡人民政府，1987年改管理区，1995年设村民委员会。2004年南下、营头两村并入，村名仍旧。[1]
自然村与人口[edit]
15个自然村中，有东黄、西黄、沙梁、张家、邓家、杜家、梁家、刘家、大洲，以及一甲、二甲、三甲、五甲、六甲和黄家。村简介所记户籍人口6376人，常住人口8508人；耕地3034亩，鱼塘985亩。[3]
经济[edit]
村民历来以种养和开办小五金为主，南岸蔬菜在西南街道有一定名气，村委会获“无公害蔬菜生产基地”称号；村内有小五金企业一百三十多家，年产值27900万元。2009年农村经济总收入38707万元，农民人均所得10250元。[3]
荣誉：南岸村在2020年、2021年、2022年三年均入选淘宝村名单；2026年3月又被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
