朝山社区是佛山市南海区西樵镇的社区。开村的是郭氏二世祖，他的号是「朝山」（郭廷嵩），村名由此而来；这里以水产种苗为特色产业。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1927年归大桐堡管，其后为大同乡、大同南乡；并乡时（1957年）划入西南乡。1958年，朝山是九江公社大同大队的一部分，1961年大同公社下设牌楼、东社、西边、朝山四个大队，到1963年2月才合为朝山大队。[2]
1983年底成立朝山乡，1987年起称行政村，随后改称管理区；1994年3月起纳入西樵山旅游度假区的范围。1999年5月起设村民委员会，2013年10月西樵镇调整区域，委员会更名为朝山社区居民委员会。[2]
经济[edit]
首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单由省农业农村厅在2020年8月公布，朝山社区以水产种苗入选。2024年1月，它又被确定为广东省2023年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
