西樵社区在佛山市南海区西樵镇官山城区的周边，下辖官山、坑边、汇龙等11个村民小组，由原西樵村改设。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1927年，吉水、学堂二乡归简村堡管，坑边、沙边、石头涌、会龙等地归龙津堡管。新中国成立初，一半辖地属崇德乡，另一半属简官乡。[3]

1961年8月，辖地曾分成吉水（和平）、解放、民强、群星四个大队，两年后又合为官山大队，1967年才定名西樵大队。[3]

公社建制取消后，1983年底这里成立西樵乡，其后依次改称行政村、管理区，1999年5月复为行政村；2011年「村改居」，村民委员会撤销，西樵居民委员会取而代之。[3]

人口民族[edit]

社区总面积3.56平方公里，11个村民小组是吉水、官山、坑边、汇龙、路边陈等，以及陆家、西吴、东吴、周家、中坊和北张。户籍人口4285人，常住1296户，外来人员约6100人。[2]

经济[edit]

社区利用交通优势发展二、三产业，村民小组建了不少商铺和仓库，增加集体收入。[2]它先后获得佛山市「五星级」农村社区、「四星级健康村」等称号。[2]2026年3月，又被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
