面积4.64平方千米，东与下西相连，南临西江，西连河清，北与璜矶、新龙两村接壤；九江大道、上西大道和新堤西路横贯村内。[1]

经济[edit]

农业为主、工业为辅：养殖桂花鱼、生鱼、鲶鱼、四大家鱼，并孵化各种鱼苗；工业有五金、制衣、塑料和土特产制造。[1]

文化[edit]

村里获得过佛山市绿色村庄，南海区「十好」和谐文明村、民主法治村、平安村居、五星级健康村、文明村等称号。[1]
