平南社区是佛山市南海区桂城街道的主城区社区，因处在平洲的南面而得名。[1] 2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

平南在清乾隆六年（1741年）归五斗口司，民国前后叫平洲南约，1950年设平南乡人民政府，以后经人民委员会、大队、村民委员会、管理区等阶段，2011年「村改居」后设居民委员会。[1]
