石肯社区是佛山市南海区桂城街道的城乡结合区社区，原为石肯村，2011年经「村改居」改设居民委员会。[1] 2024年8月入选「佛山市百千万工程第二批典型镇村」，2026年1月获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，宋代这里是受潮水涨落影响的滩涂，河涌交错、河底多石，船只常常搁浅，船民把搁浅叫作「石肯」（土话），地名便由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
原属顺德县，1952年划入南海县，此后随平洲一带的区、公社几经隶属，1985年7月起归桂城管辖。村级建制从大队、乡、管理区、管理处一路演变，1999年6月设村民委员会，2011年「村改居」后成为居民委员会。[1]
著名人物[edit]
明代内阁首辅梁储，百度百科记其为广州府桂城石肯（该条写作「石𬒔」）人。[2]
