泗和村是汕头市潮南区胪岗镇的行政村，在潮南区中心地带，距324国道350米。[1] 由楼前、埔尾、桥东、桥西四个自然村组成，2013年1437户、8039人。[2][1]

历史沿革[edit]

四个自然村沿泗水河而居，泗水河从村中心流过，「泗和」之名取自泗水河和四个自然村。[1][2] 楼前创于宋太平兴国元年（976年），桥东创于宋淳祐三年（1243年），桥西创于淳祐年间（1241—1252年），埔尾创于清康熙二十七年（1688年）。[2]

明、清到民国初年属潮阳县黄陇都，1921年起为和平第四区辖地；曾并入四和大队，1986年起单设村委会，其间称过泗和乡、泗和管理区。[2]

经济[edit]

以农业为主，种粮食和蔬菜，可耕地约650亩；工业有文化用品、服装、织带、印花等。汕头市远生文具有限公司的「远生」是广东省著名商标。[1] 2020年至2022年进入淘宝村名单。[2]
