四和村是汕头市潮南区胪岗镇中部的行政村，在胪岗、两英、峡山三镇交界处，村址设在南光片，溪和路南面，距镇区约5公里。^[1] 2013年底1197户、7022人，由七个自然村组成。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自原有的四个自然村：银塭、大堀洋、尖尾、可田沟。^[2] 银塭创于明成化十年（1474年），尖尾创于明弘治十六年（1503年），大堀洋、可田沟创于明崇祯年间（1628—1644年）。^[2]

明、清到民国初年属潮阳县黄陇都；此后曾称四和大队、四和乡，1986年起设村委会，其间一度称四和管理区。^[2]

四和村是纯农的半山区村，种粮食、青麻和蔬菜，青麻种植面积超过150亩；工业仅4至5家小作坊。据博雅地名网，集体经济薄弱，历年都是市、区的贫困村。^[1] 2019年9月，上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。^[2]
