胪溪社区是汕头市潮南区胪岗镇的社区，位于镇东南部，东邻潮阳区和平镇新龙村，南接成田镇的西岐，和惠公路穿过辖区。^[1]^[2] 2013年有3020户、18794人，在潮汕的侨乡中颇有名气。^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区创立于唐光启年间（885—888年），因地处溪边、多芦苇，先称芦溪，后改写为胪溪。^[1] 明、清到民国初年归潮阳县峡山都，1921年起为潮阳县第四区辖地；1950年属溪头乡，此后曾称胪溪大队、胪溪乡，1986年起设居委会，其间一度称胪溪管理区。^[1]

辖区有织造、服装、制衣、文具等企业十多家；农业以潮汕蕉柑、脐橙为主，1958年12月获国务院颁发的农业生产奖状，2003年被认定为无公害农产品。^[2] 2020年8月，胪溪社区（柑橙）列入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。^[1]

胪溪教育村集中胪溪中学、小学和幼儿园，占地162亩，由辖区人士和海外侨胞捐资约四千万元建成，捐款人中有吴宏丰（中华总商会主席）、吴娘锡（泰国吴氏宗亲会名誉理事长）等。2004年被中国侨联命名为「科教兴国示范基地」。^[2]
