胪新社区是汕头市潮南区胪岗镇的社区，在中港河中游北岸，西接泗和村，北邻泗黄村，东与胪岗社区交界，峡溪路连通324国道。[1] 2013年底315户、2190人，居民由刘、黄两姓组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区原属胪岗管区，1971年10月从胪岗大队分出，设胪新大队，名称即由「胪岗」加「新」而来。[2] 后来归胪溪乡，1986年起设居委会，其间一度称胪新管理区。[2]

经济[edit]

当地人多地少，耕地180.3亩，多数家庭从事传统手工纸品制作，据博雅地名网已有300多年历史，近年逐步改用机械操作。[1] 社区建有新校舍的胪新小学、居委办公楼和老年人文化活动中心。[1]
