沙陂村是汕头市潮南区成田镇下辖的行政村，在大南山南部，距镇区17公里，南与雷岭镇、惠来县接壤，是成田镇偏远的山区村和“二战”时期的革命老区村。[1]全镇最高峰大帽山（海拔452米）在村西。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村创于元至正二十年（1360年）。大龙溪水流到村前汇成水潭，潭边泥沙淤积成陂，村名由此而来。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，全村438户、3171人，山地11300亩（该页未注明年份）。[1]

文化[edit]

1924年至1927年前后，彭湃领导的海陆丰农民运动波及潮汕，沙陂、后坪、千山、三湖、稳少、宁湖、后安、五丰“老八乡”成立了流陂乡政府，办公地点设在沙陂村寨内。1928年，流陂乡和惠来东区的农民协会在沙陂三蛤水举行成立大会。1948年，潮普惠县委和闽粤赣边纵队第2支队第11团在沙陂成立。村老寨内尚存当年红军作战办公和用餐的房屋遗址。[1]

距村约1公里有一处明代窑址“碗窑山”，出土碗、碟、盘的瓷片。[1]

经济[edit]

村地处偏僻，全村没有企业，村民多外出务工。近年投入2000多万元扶贫建设，改建圆潭仔桥、蛤水桥，通电话线路和供电线路，修村道、建光华里农民新村。[1]

著名人物[edit]

国家二级演员、潮剧老生张长城是该村人。[1]
