上盐村是汕头市潮南区成田镇下辖的行政村，在镇境北部，与潮阳区和平镇接界，东邻东盐村，西靠西岐村，省道和惠公路从村中穿过。^[1]全村姓郑。^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明正统八年（1443年），福建莆田人郑宗福的后裔迁来立村。先人在盐汀溪上段定居，古称上盐汀村，后简称上盐。^[1]^[2]

据博雅地名网，村人口4354人，耕地500多亩（未注明年份）。农业种水稻和生柑，工业主要是织布和织袜，在全镇属工业较集中的村。^[2]

该村出过不少知名人物：中国电影事业的创始人之一郑正秋，曾任全国人大代表、政协委员和中国银行香港分行经理的金融家郑铁如，中国科学院院士郑儒永，清华大学教授郑国忠，曾任汕头市常务副市长的郑人豪等。^[2]
