凤田村在铜盂镇中部，距镇政府约3公里，东有练江，草南公路穿村而过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明正德三年（1508年），先人建后田村，因村后是一片田洋；据说长房迁往普宁厚田，始祖居次房，遂雅称凤田。1956年定名凤田村，1975年设大队，1984年改为乡，1986年改设村委会。[1]

人口经济[edit]

2370人（410户），旅居海外的侨胞与港澳台同胞共两千多人，是镇内侨乡之一；总面积1041多亩，耕地531多亩，村内有小学和一所片区中学（师生超过1000人）及卫生站。[1]
