屿南村在铜盂镇西北部，北港运河下游北岸，因在壬屿山之南得名，建村约400年。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明隆庆二年（1568年）先人立村，称壬屿南村。1958年起为屿南农业生产大队，隶红锋公社；1984年与屿北、树香合为屿香乡，1986年起称屿南村委会，1999年沿用此名。[1]
人口经济[edit]
辖区约2.2平方千米，2731人（490户），耕地680亩，主种水稻、甘薯，有党员44人；村东有清代建的壬屿庵。2021年12月获「广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
