溪边村在小北山麓、灵山之下，由溪边和方港两个自然村组成，是铜盂镇主要侨乡之一。[1]
历史与聚落[edit]
村建于明代，因三面环溪得名。聚落成块状，住宅多为下山虎、四点金，还有当地人所称的「平房叠楼」「下山虎叠楼」。[1]
人口经济[edit]
全村3400人，海外华侨和港澳台同胞3500人；耕地合计约895亩，溪边约650亩，方港约245亩，以水稻、甘薯为主。侨胞捐资兴建小学、幼儿园和戏台。[1]
