寨头是汕头市金平区岐山街道的社区，介于护堤路与潮汕路之间，占地约一平方公里，在街道里规模居中[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

寨头先是1950年的寨头村农会，次年起归中岐人民政府；1987年至1998年，是岐山镇中岐管理区办事处下的寨头居委会。同年12月，经金园区人民政府批复，中岐居委会撤销，原地分出南楼、中宫、寨头、沟湖四个居委；2003年3月的区划调整后，寨头归岐山街道[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

简介称常住人口约1779人，外来人口800多人。简介称，社区重新利用了1.3万平方米厂房和62亩闲置土地，引来30多家企业，企业全年产值8200万元，集体收入约165万元[2]。

社区建设[edit]

社区重大事项实行票决，几年间共筹资约500万元，建起文化广场、文体活动中心、居委办公楼和一幢1500平方米的综合服务楼，修了东西向村道1100米、下水道1400米，并整治二排渠寨头段400米；另花约15万元装设监控系统[2]。2025年，街道对寨头社区危旧房屋开展修缮和环境整治专项行动[3]。
