南楼是汕头市金平区岐山街道的社区，地处潮汕路东侧，岐山路穿过其中，面积约1.2平方公里，属涉农社区[1][2]。

地名由来与沿革[edit]

社区的前身是南楼联社，1998年12月原中岐居委会撤销后，南楼与中宫、寨头、沟湖一同分设为居委会[1][3]。中宫社区的简介称南楼村原名头社[4]，而陇头社区的说法是陇头因在最北端而排行头社[5]，两说不同。

人口与社区建设[edit]

简介载人口2027人。社区设党支部，有党员72人，居民代表34人，居委委员5人，另有8人的治安联防队伍；设施有会议室、党员活动室、警务室、图书室和老年人活动中心等。社区党支部在2006年得到街道“先进基层党支部”的称号[2]。
