历史沿革[edit]
起初是1953年的寨头乡；1958年成为生产大队，1983年重又叫乡，1987年改设村委会，1989年一度叫管理区，1999年再改回村委会，名称至今未变。[1]
经济[edit]
村情资料载：全村总面积1平方千米，耕地1100亩，年均气温23摄氏度，年降雨量约1600毫米；主要种花生、水稻和蔬菜，村里的特色收入来自虾塘、鱼塘。资料未注明年份。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，寨头村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
