寨头村是韶关市乐昌市廊田镇辖下的行政村，位于廊田镇的西南面，东隔河与楼下村的圩坪相望，南隔河与长来镇东边村委会的冲下村为界，西接白平村，北连平富村，离镇政府约5.5公里。[1]
面积约1平方千米，是廊田镇面积最小的村委会；耕地752亩，水域约300亩，林地71.4公顷；设3个村民小组，175户741人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情，寨头村在1958年设寨头大队，1983年改设寨头乡政府，1987年设村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，1998年又设村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
据村情资料，村里在新农村建设中硬化了村道，并发展特色农业，种植优质水稻、蔬菜和马蹄。[1]
