东方社区是广东省深圳市南山区沙河街道的社区，因辖区内有东方花园住宅小区而得名。[1]社区约3.22平方千米：东边在锦绣中华东侧，与福田区的海园一路相接；西边在世界之窗西侧，邻白石洲；南到深圳湾与滨海大道，北抵深南大道。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这片地方起初是锦绣社区，2001年并入中新社区、合称中新街社区；2004年10月街道增设社区，东方社区居委会从中新社区分立，沿用至今。[1]介绍文字另写社区于2004年11月挂牌成立，当是挂牌办公的时间。[1]

地理环境[edit]

辖区内有世界之窗、锦绣中华民俗文化村、欢乐海岸和洲际大酒店，居住区有世界之窗宿舍、东方花园、瑞河耶纳三处，合计126栋住宅楼、1677户。[1]

人口民族[edit]

总人口7358人，其中户籍3068人，流动人口4296人；有出租屋606间（套），各类营业场所168家。[1]社区在2022年3月成为第一批「深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」。[1]
