福田街道是广东省深圳市福田区下辖的街道，处在区的最南部，南面以深圳河为界，与香港新界的落马洲隔河对望，北靠深南大道，西到新洲路，东到华强南路。[1][2]

1983年设立街道办事处，现辖13个社区；第七次全国人口普查（2020年）登记的常住人口为28.31万人。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

旧时乡政府驻地前有福田寺，乡以寺名为福田乡，设街道后沿用，称福田街道。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1978年宝安县的附城公社一分为二，另立福田公社，今街道一带归其管辖。[1] 深圳市政府于1983年11月批准成立福田街道办事处。[1] 1984年6月设立的圩镇居委会是后来多个居委会的源头，福华、福安、福民、福山和福滨（今口岸）先后由它分出；各居委会在2002年改称社区居委会，2005年又自圩镇社区析出福南社区。[4]

地理与交通[edit]

街道办事处自述辖区面积为8.24平方公里，常住人口28.2万；地铁有8条线路穿过，广深港高铁也经过此地。[2] 百度百科与博雅地名网采用的面积数则是约10.8平方千米。[1][2][3]

社区与村[edit]

除13个社区外，街道还有福田环庆、岗厦、皇岗、水围、渔农5家股份合作公司。[2] 街道内的福田村原称「隔田」，村民多黄姓；皇岗村、水围村多庄姓；岗厦村多文姓。[5][6][7][8]

名胜古迹[edit]

水围社区内的水围雅石博物馆于2005年11月开馆，展厅面积450平方米，收藏奇石200余件；水围龙秋村的龙秋古井相传为明初庄氏四世祖父子立村时所掘，现建筑为清代遗存。[3] 皇岗双拥公园在福强路2002号，面积17.3公顷，1997年9月先开放一部分，2009年3月被授予「五星级公园」称号。[9]
