历史沿革[edit]

龙潭原归沙田大队管辖，1962年6月分设龙潭大队；1983年12月随沙田乡建政府而并入，1986年12月另设村民委员会，经管理区阶段后，1998年12月重设村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

沙田镇政府介绍，龙潭、阳福两村的村民种植马蹄500多亩，并成立了宝惠马蹄种植专业合作社，据称每亩收入比种水稻多2000多元；砂糖桔在龙潭、天中、新岭、乌石等村集中种植，全镇面积达1万多亩。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，龙潭村列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
