高步村是广州市从化区城郊街道北部的行政村，距从化城区仅约1公里，与向阳、东风、荷村、新开等村相邻。[1]土地面积543.18公顷，分设14个经济社，2017年底户籍人口4200人。[2]
官方简介称村建于清代，历史建筑风貌保存较完整。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
高步大队于1958年建立，1983年12月改作高步乡，1987年1月起为高步村民委员会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村经济以农业为主，水系发达，水塘绿地多。[2]博雅地名网记村总面积6.5平方千米，耕地5000亩，与官方村域面积不同。[1]2019年9月，高步村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
