关围社区是广州市从化区城郊街道下辖的社区，属主城区，因居委会驻地关围新村而得名。[1]

关围新村是1980年代兴建的住宅小区；社区居委会于1991年设立，2004年起归城郊街管辖。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

县房管所自筹资金，于1985年在当时的街口镇建成住宅区，称关围新村。1991年，这里设立了关围社区居民委员会；2004年，社区改由城郊街管理。[1]

关围新村的改造[edit]

据百度百科，关围新村1985年动工、1989年建成，原是工厂宿舍。2020年立项做微改造，2021年开工，2022年底基本完工，内容有外墙修缮、防水层修复和公共设施提升，旧有的耐候钢板标语作为工业记忆保留下来。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，社区进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2021年11月，被确定为「广州市2021年绿色社区」。[1]
