镇北社区是广州市从化区城郊街道下辖的社区，位于城乡结合部。名称来自它在河滨北路北侧的位置，也寄寓居民生活安定的愿望。[1]

居委会成立于1999年，起初设在龙仔新村；2004年改称社区居民委员会；2015年社区调整后沿用此名。2019年，社区分出一部分，另设河滨北社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

镇北居委会建于1999年；到2004年，它升格为社区居委会，随后在2005年搬到河滨北路办公。2015年拆分调整后，社区仍用原名。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，镇北社区被广州市住房和城乡建设局列为「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2024年11月，社区入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
