文二村位于炭步镇西南部，西面隔芦苞涌与南海区、三水区相望，面积约4.26平方千米，下辖8个经济社，距炭步城区约18公里。[1]村与文一村同出文岗，因村中有形似文笔的「文峰」山丘得名。[1]2020年8月，文二村入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（香芋）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村民相传约六百年前，先民来自广州市郊人和的大田与高要的莲塘，在此建村。1987年设文一村委会，隶属炭步区公所。[1]
经济[edit]
文冈槟榔香芋是村里的农业龙头产品，农业另种植水稻、葱、蒜、花生；工业以五金制品和生铁铸造为主。2025年6月被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」。[1]
文化[edit]
搜狐号文章讲到乾隆微服到炭步圩，吃了「文冈芋头焖扣肉」后称赞，后来炭步芋头出名的传说；文二村另有抗美援朝一级战斗英雄谢瑞芬。[2]
