红山村在花都区梯面镇西部，离镇中心4公里，面积14.5平方千米，下辖9个村民小组，户籍人口1047人、240户，通往王子山的县道从村中经过[1]。村名取“红色山区”之意[1]。它是广州市的新农村建设示范村，也是镇上乡村旅游的主要村落[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

村最初叫李婆洞。民国后期编为七保；1949年建梯面乡后编为七村；1951年属梯面乡，1953年初划归四和乡；1958年秋花山人民公社成立，李婆洞成为其中的四和大队[1]。1983年，红山与横坑并为四和村，后来分设[1]。

经济与旅游[edit]

村民种水稻、蔬菜、花生，村集体种的有白榄（220亩）、花椒（150亩）和竹笋（100亩）[1]。据快懂百科转述2011年的采访，村里早年以采矿为业，山体和河道受到破坏，2004年关闭全村的泥石厂；之后梯面镇投入一千多万元，在村里发展旅游，建成东部深谷景区[2]。

村里建有观光木长廊、木凉亭、灰塑、鼓楼等，每年举办桃花节、油菜花节；博雅地名网称旺季每年接待游客约5万人次[1]。

荣誉[edit]

红山村获得的称号有：「第六批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」（2015年3月，司法部、民政部），「首批“广东省文化和旅游特色村”」（2019年9月），「广东省卫生村」（2019年），「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」（2020年8月，休闲农业），「2021年中国美丽休闲乡村」（农业农村部推介，2021年10月），「2021年广州粤菜师傅名村」，「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」（2023年11月），并在2024年4月进入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单[1]。
