石楼社区是广州市番禺区石楼镇下辖的社区，属主城区，社区名称取自镇名「石楼」[1]。

地名由来[edit]

石楼旧称「石狮头」，相传莲花山（旧又称石砺岗）上有一块形似狮子的巨石，故有此名；后来人们把读音说快，就成了「石楼」[1]。

沿革与荣誉[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区在2017年5月进入「第四批国家级充分就业社区」，2021年11月名列广州市住建部门公布的「广州市2021年绿色社区」，2024年11月又获评「2024年广州市高质量就业社区（村）」[1]。
