胜洲村是广州市番禺区石楼镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的最北端，面积约2.65平方千米，下辖9个村民小组，总人口1077人、415户，建村于元末^[1]。

地名由来与沿革[edit]

该村所在沙洲四面环水，对外交通不便，原名独洲。后来人们嫌「独」与「毒」同音不雅，又传说清代有陨石落下被当作「圣物」，「圣」与「胜」谐音，遂改称胜洲，寄托万事胜意之愿^[1]。

元末始建；1958年称胜洲大队，1984年为胜洲乡，1987年设胜洲村民委员会^[1]。村土地已全部征用，2009年生物医药园落户后，集体经济收入有所增加^[1]。2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单^[1]。
