茭西村是广州市番禺区石楼镇下辖的行政村，位于镇北部，面积约3平方千米，分12个村民小组，人口1700多人，多为农田[1]。
地名由来[edit]
1960年，茭塘村分成茭东村和茭西村，茭西即「茭塘村的西部」；茭塘一名来自村旁水塘里的野生茭草[1]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
村里引进优质水果种植，形成杨桃、石榴生产基地，水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘养四大家鱼[1]。2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；村在2024年11月获「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」认定，2025年12月和2026年1月又分别入选区、市两级的高质量就业名单[1]。
