茭东村是广州市番禺区石楼镇下辖的行政村，位于红罗线（X416）旁，面积约6.81平方千米，下辖11个村民小组，总人口1965人，地处丘陵山岗地带[1]。
地名由来[edit]
茭塘村因村旁水塘盛产野生茭草而得名；1960年茭塘村分为茭东、茭西两个行政村，茭东即「茭塘村的东部」[1]。
经济[edit]
村里种水稻、花卉、香蕉、杨桃、番石榴，鱼塘养四大家鱼，塘基养瘦肉型猪；茭塘出产的禾虫已形成品牌产品[1]。2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
