历史沿革[edit]

这一带是河海淤泥地，生长许多水樃（水生植物），称朗头。朗头村建于南宋；新中国成立初期属番禺县第九区和风乡；1960年起设朗头大队；1963年与两潭（即两上、两下两村）合为朗潭大队；1978年朗头分出，恢复朗头大队；1987年起设朗头村委会。[1]
