历史沿革[edit]
村边有一棵大古竹，最初叫古竹脚村；据说村后两座山像双凤朝阳，改称杨山。杨山村建于南宋，建国初期属和风乡；1960年设杨山大队，1963年与鹤岗、峡石合并仍称杨山大队，1976年和1978年峡石、鹤岗先后分出；1987年设杨山村委会，属神山镇；2004年归江高镇。[1]
文化[edit]
2021年12月，杨山村获「广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
