历史沿革[edit]
相传村下水源丰富，村名取水沥二字。水沥村建于清代，解放前归江莲乡管。1958年起它是江村人民公社的水沥大队；郊区政府在1984年2月批准改称水沥乡；次年1月，水沥村委会成立。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村总面积4.19平方公里，耕地260多公顷，下设2个自然村、11个经济社。户籍居民3800多人，外来人口3000多人。新广花一级公路、旧广花路和北二环高速公路都经过村境。[1]
经济[edit]
村里有红葱种植基地。2020年8月，水沥村以蔬菜入选首批「广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」。[1]
文化[edit]
水沥村2020年至2022年先后列入淘宝村名单，2017年10月被评为「第一批广东省卫生村」。[1]
