历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前，村里有一座古炮楼，称古楼；土地改革时期改「古」为「新」，得名新楼。新楼村建于明代。1949年归番禺县第九区江莲乡的古楼岗村；1951年至1957年称岗楼乡新楼村；此后几年里，村先后属江村公社、双岗公社的新楼大队，1961年起又归江村公社；1985年设新楼村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
新楼村2021年、2022年列入淘宝村名单；2021年12月获「广东省卫生村」称号；2025年6月被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
