峡石村是广州市白云区江高镇下辖的行政村。村在巴江河边，地名写作峡石或硖石。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传清代建村时，村民在巴江河边修了硖石古庙，庙里立着一块大石，村因此得名，后来「硖」字改写作「峡」。峡石村建于清代，原称硖石，后改作峡石。建国初期属和风乡；1960年设峡石大队；1963年并入杨山大队；1976年分出，称知识青年创业大队；1984年称峡石乡；1987年起设峡石村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

峡石村2023年11月入选「广东百千万工程首批典型县镇村」；2024年4月入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单；2020年8月以花卉入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村；2022年1月被确定为乡村治理示范村创建单位（2021年度）；2021年12月获「广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
