历史沿革[edit]

村旁有沙塘，建村时称沙塘村；明末村里文人多，改名沙龙，取文人聚会之所的意思。沙龙村在南宋咸淳年间建村。1949年归番禺县第九区和风乡；1951年改沙谭乡；1957年下半年称神山人民公社沙龙乡；1958年与雄丰、中八组成跃进社；1963年成立沙龙大队；1984年称沙龙乡；1987年设沙龙村委会；2004年神山镇并入江高镇，沙龙属江高镇。[1]

2025年6月，沙龙村被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」。[1]
