历史沿革[edit]

村名即其所辖的勤星村。1949年，勤星属番禺县第九区同中乡；1955年称第六社；1957年改称勤星村；1958年大田、沙溪、勤星三村合称大田大队；1978年各自恢复；1985年起设勤星村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

2023年8月，勤星村获「2022年度广州市美丽乡村」称号；2017年10月获「第一批广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
