山下村是溪柄镇的一个行政村，村名恢复于2018年。[2]村后山形如狮，本名“狮山”，因方言中“狮”与“山”读音相近，故得今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年成立山下大队，1984年改设村委会。[2]2018年12月25日，福安市人民政府批复（安政文〔2018〕606号）恢复「山下」村名，此后沿用至今。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

施霖烈士后裔厝位于村中田头岗自然村，1953年为革命烈士施霖的后裔所建，坐西南向东北。[3]2013年2月20日，福安市人民政府将其公布为「第五批市级文物保护单位」。[3]
